I stood naked in the bathroom, my hair draped over the edge of the bathtub as I lathered up with shampoo. I closed my eyes and breathed deeply, lost in thought. Suddenly, I heard a voice behind me. "I've been watching you," they whispered into my ear. I knew I was in the bathroom alone, but suddenly my head was pushed down into the water. A confused and panicked feeling spread through my body. Their fingers intertwining with mine, pulling me up enough to take a breath and then pushing me back down. Unexpectedly the pressure was gone as if the hand was removed. I still felt they stood there, watching me as their world fading away with satisfaction.
